VALERIE JANNSEN
Valerie Jannsen`s career began with a four-year stint at Benson/Paragon Music, Nashville, followed by a fifteen year tenure at Word Music Publishing seeing her advance from Publishing Assistant to Vice President - Creative.

During that time, she signed and managed a string of leading industry writers, attained thousands of cuts, crossing all genres of music.

STUART ONGLEY
Australian born Stuart Ongley began his career in music as a professional musician.

In 1982 Stuart was employed by SIR CLIFF RICHARD’S manager, Peter Gormley (The Shadows, Olivia Newton-John), to set up a music publishing company, Patch Music Ltd. Patch’s first signing was CHRIS EATON.

In 1988, Stuart became Managing Director of PEERMUSIC UK, the London office of the world’s largest independent music publishing company. In this capacity he was involved in the development of the career of the Queen of ‘Rave’, ROZALLA who had several international hits, including the rave anthem, ‘EVERYBODY’S FREE’.

In 1991, Stuart set up his own music publishing company, SGO. SGO’s music publishing involvements include Sir Cliff; punk pioneers THE FALL (3 albums); Irish New Traditional supergroup, LÚNASA; international commercials; the catalogues of legendary 70’s bands, THE STRAWBS and PENTANGLE; CHRIS EATON’s songs, including Cliff Richard’s No.1 UK hit, “Saviour’s Day” and songs recorded by JANET JACKSON, AMY GRANT, DONNA SUMMER, VINCE GILL, and JACI VELASQUEZ; PRIME DIRECTION, the publishing catalogue of the giant Japanese entertainment group, AVEX. SGO also has extensive TV and film music interests including two HANS ZIMMER soundtracks and the soundtracks to many BBC documentaries.

JO is an international music service formed in June 2002 by music publishing veterans, Valerie Jannsen ("J") and Stuart Ongley ("O"). The business of JO is centred on a music publishing company, providing comprehensive administrative and creative services.

The business focus of JO is to further enhance the careers and businesses of established writers/clients. The creative focus of JO is to give artists the ultimate musical ’package’ of the best ’marriage of songs and, if required, the producers of these songs.
